Ashley Brandon is a filmmaker from Defiance, Ohio. Her work spans horror, documentary, comedy, and hybrid forms.

Ash’s short films have screened at Sundance, SXSW (winning a Special Jury Award), and Fantastic Fest. Her projects have been distributed by Disney+ and featured on Bloody Disgusting’s Bloody Bites series. She has received support from ESPN, the Tribeca Film Institute, the Adrienne Shelly Foundation, and Rooftop Films. Variety once referred to her as a “horror historian,” a title she does not personally claim, but she will roll with.

Ashley hates writing in third person and graduated from Northwestern University.
