Ashley Brandon is an award-winning cross-genre filmmaker whose work spans horror, documentary, comedy, and hybrid forms. Her directing work has screened at Sundance, Tribeca, SXSW (Special Jury Award), Fantastic Fest, and Slamdance (Grand Jury Prize), while her narrative editing work has screened at genre festivals internationally.
Her films have been distributed by Disney and featured on Bloody Disgusting's Bloody Bites series. She has received support from the Tribeca Film Institute, Adrienne Shelly Foundation, and Rooftop Films.
Variety once referred to her as a "horror historian," a title she does not claim but is happy to roll with. Ashley hates writing in third person and graduated from Northwestern University.
She is currently developing a psychological horror feature.
